I've always said this was an issue. Every time someone sees my car. That seems to be the reaction. This car really isn't marketed well. Unless you watch top gear. Or read car magazines a lot. People just have no idea this car exists.

Haven't posted here in a while, but yesterday the shop told me "Your car is done, last thing is the programming for the airbags needs to be done tomorrow, then it's yours"

However today, the company who reprograms them said he can't do it and it has to go to the dealership, who is busy until next monday. This will drag these repairs right past the 2 month mark. Here's a picture of the finished repairs though

What kicked me over the edge was the Subaru owners magazine that came in the mail recently. They featured the BRZ, and it honestly lit the fire under me to make me go test drive... I'm tall, my husband is very shouldery... I wasn't sure we would fit comfortably in it.

It is funny how everyone asks what the heck it is. "It's a Subaru."

I got that issue too. Haha. Yea I'm not small. I'm only 5'8. But about 300lbs lol. And I was definitely afraid I wouldn't fit in it. But surprisingly I fit fine.

Just an update on the supercharger/etc/daily life.

4k miles, broke an axle. #lowlife #slammed #BOOSTED

But in all seriousness, took about 40 minutes to change in the front yard, minus the 5 hours of driving to go get a spare axle.

Supercharger is running great. Heat soak is a big deal with this 210 though. Never noticed it when I had the carbon fiber VS hood on my FR-S, but since I have a non-vented hood now, it's bad.. looking into the Velox Motorsports vent kit. Been eye balling it since pre-production.

I would try wrapping that massively long intake tube.

Part of me likes the simplicity of the Velox vents but... I dunno, something is off about how they look to me. I can't put my finger on it.

Could wrap it. But it's only plastic. Someone made an all aluminum one. Might get that from a friend. Needs the vacuum port welded tho.

Installed my Perrin transmission mount after cutting a hole in the Whiteline bushing... So. Much. Transmission. Sounds.

You still might get some insulation from it.

Quick question, does anyone know if there is a way to get OEM Subaru HyperBlue touch up paint. Particularly in the form of the pen/brush. I have looked and only seen 3rd party proprietors offering to do it through their own methods without Subaru licensing for example. If you know where I can get it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
