So we are already setup for steering wheel controls? If so, sweet.

2017 is when we will see the Toyota FRS. Makes sense a redesign will come then too.

I know sometimes with Porsche the parts don't always mix with the pre-facelifts.

So far they've kept to their promise of keeping any upgrades bolt-on.

Does that mean steering controls will work with our cars or only with a bolt on head unit that's compatible?

No idea. Though our existing head unit already works with the old controls from some other subies (there's a thread here somewhere...)

Going to need the clock spring and some wiring I assume, but it can be done I bet.

Steering wheel controls are done via CAN-BUS so the headunit will need to tap into that, and we are probably missing a controller module on the old steering wheel.

You could always go with this:

The spoiler looks almost exactly the same, except for this:

It's not the spoiler/wing from the spy photos, but it is updated none the less.

Interdasting, interdasting in deeeed.

I think that tab on the wing is just something for shipping or assembly.

no more 2016 special orders

I just heard back from my local Subaru dealer this afternoon & he just tried to order me a 2016 BRZ WRB Manual Limited and found out that the factory is no longer taking any more orders. So, I'll have to wait until May or June to order a 2017.

update: finally found me a 2016 BRZ
