I agree, I am not a wheel whore so paying $500 per rim is crazy to me. But in all fairness most OEM rims are in the $300-$500 price range per wheel. I just don't like the idea of buying a wheel that is known to fail often.

More Honda Civics break down than Lamborghini Hurcans. What's your point? Way more replica wheels out there than real wheels. Of course you're going to see more replicas bending, cracking, failing, etc.

Are they known to fail often or is that something the wheel whores came up with? I've seen some memes making fun of replicas but I can't say I've ever actually seen someone with a broken wheel. I have heard of someone at the track on Rota Titans though. Apparently he runs them regularly. So... I dunno. I'm not worried about my XXRs. Quality of the finish could have been better(some runs in the paint, and poor coverage around the lip) but for the cost they are good.

I have meet one guy that had replicas and he managed to hit a pothole and split the rim of the wheel and blow his tire apart, but other then him everyone else with reps seems to be doing fine so I guess you guys both make a good point.

Just want to chime in, ebay is usually your best bet. I don't think wheeldude carries much of what is shown on the website anymore. I could be wrong but I had a hell of a time finding rota titans in gold. As for quality, I had grids on my summer tires for about 7 years (60k miles) on my teg and never had any issues. I never tracked it but did hit a few really good size potholes. I like the RT5 as well, goodluck.

LOL. Actually if Rota made a replica then someone else probably did too. Find the original design and look up replicas or just browse XXR etc for one that looks like it

Well in case anyone cares the 35 offset is not a typo which is awesome...

I called the seller on amazon, I also asked them about custom ordering in Hyper Black as I don't really want the flat black color. She is gonna get back to me in a few days.

Woot woot, would be so rad if I could get them in +35 offset that way I don't have to run the chance of having to run spacers/extended studs with my setup. If anyone else is interested maybe call the seller [18RACING] on amazon and create a demand for a +35 offset

Thought I share my experience with wheeldude. I ordered a set of Rota Grid 17x9 Flat Black on Sunday March 6 this year. Got an email from wheeldude the next day thanking me for the purchase and telling me it'll be shipped thursday (March 10th) /friday (March 11th) and I'll receive another email with a tracking number. Thursday came, no email, no tracking number... Friday came, no email, no tracking number.... Monday came, no email or tracking number...Tried calling them, no1 picked up. Tuesday, came home from work and found a surprise at the front door. 4 boxes with rota wheels inside. I searched the tracking number that was on the box, it showed it was shipped Wednesday (March 9). Overall, I got the wheels and in good condition. Only thing I didn't get was the tracking number. Here is a pic of the wheels.

Rotas are fine but like any of the replica wheels the failure mode is "usually" catastrophic rather than bent.
