Thread revival.. on the edge of purchasing one of these cnt uel catless header for 388cad. Is it worth it ? As in will this last and give me a louder boxer rumble? (Currently have trd catback exhaust). I know theres gruppe s but thats around 600cad.. so cnt is my best option right now

Still have this after almost a year. Still going strong, still making cool noises, still hasn't cracked. Though, it's showing signs of corrosion. Probably will replace it with the Gruppe-S shortly.

Hmm about how long will it still last with the corrosion ? Im located in Vancouver BC area. And is it loud enough for other cars to hear it in daily city driving ? Just curious

You think canadian weather accelerate the corrosion?

I was able to snag one of these for $250 when CNT racing was having a one day sale. If there's surface rust on the header a nice sand blast and ceramic coat will totally protect it.

The cheaper DIY method would probably just involve using a wire wheel drill attachment and a rust remover bath if it's that bad, then using DEI silicone spray then DEI titanium wrap, that would protect it in the long run.

Depends on how loud your exhaust is.

Do you have any revving clips with just the CNT header and stock catback? I'm really psyched to hear what it'll sound like on my car

had mine about a year as well. Not driven through the MN winter though.

Ive had an exhaust leak since day one with it but I swapped out all of the exhaust at one time. I have a hunch it could be the Q300 to the nameless combo.


It actually didnt want to fit with the stock stuff very well but fit very well to the Nameless overpipe/mid pipe combo. Its worth the low price tag. As mentioned in this thread the quality is almost identical to the Borla UEL.

yeah thats a smoking deal, but cant complain. got mine @ 350 6 months ago and im still satisfied.

no video clips, but it does provide a bit more grunt when revving. (stock front pipe to stock exhaust) as for who hears it driving by, dont know never had anyone drive it while i sat on side of the road.

Whooops another revival. Im thinking of getting this headers too. My setup right now is perrin inlet hose, k&n air filter and borla axleback exhaust. Not that much of a mod I just wanted to get that rumble sound loll. Will the o2 spacer work without getting a tune?
