That would have left a bunch of posts by other people hahaha.

I just ordered a Raceseng shift knob and will probably get the Invidia N1 next month. I'm trying my best to stay within the confines of my warranty.

Fuck the warenty. My car was full catless and tuned before I broke it in But non the less good choice on parts. I am glad your not buying cheap Ebay crap

The clutch has a constant pressure through engagement all the way to the floor now, instead of that strange "dead" or "weak" zone halfway through that it had with the spring. It is much easier for me to achieve smooth shifts, both up and down, now. I had trouble properly learning and memorizing the clutch point with the spring in it.

Been thinking about doing this. You're like me, 2016 WRB BRZ purchased in December and my first manual car too. Lol. I have trouble with the clutch point sometimes. It's so vague that some days I'm all good with shifting and other days it's just rough shifts all day.

I feel your pain. Right when my car reached 3k miles I started to feel how much of a dead zone there was in the pedal. Removing that spring makes it a smooth transition which, at the very least, makes the catch point somewhat consistent and predictable.
