With that said, that is what makes the head unit such a problem, because at the end of the day the head unit is a direct conduit or extension of my music with how it is being played and how I interact with it.
The head unit is definitely not a highlight. I am really into music, but for me, a car was never the best place to listen to it anyways because of all the noise, even before this car. Besides android auto or carplay, most other oem head units aren't that great either. I don't know how you mostly listen to music but I only use FM radio, Bluetooth, and the XM radio free trial. For Bluetooth I just set up what I want to listen to and can use the skip buttons just fine. Radio is also just fine to use. The "apps" may as well not exist. I haven't tried a flash drive but that might be a decent way to play a larger music collection.

Let us know how the car feels! I think it's time to start modding the engine

So... total novice here....but how do I post pictures to the thread? I see they want to have me use a link to a spot where they are uploaded online. Is that really the only way to post pictures in a thread/post? If so, what is the best place to do this. I want to ensure my pictures don't become unavailable after time (you know, the photobucket thing where they are no longer available).

Thanks,

Well you can never be sure pics will last. I use imgur.com personally.

Yeah, imgur and I use Flickr if I'm on my computer, but I find it easier to just Tapatalk on my iPad or phone and they just updated it so it doesn't double the image when you attach one!

I usually just use imgur and copy and paste the one labeled specifically for forums

Just testing this out.

As for my first mods,

I scored an OEM car cover and OEM cargo tray for 100 bucks! As for my next mods,

I am going to pay someone to professionally refinish and buff out the dealership's crappy job they did where they left paint swirls all over my car. Once that's done I am heading straight to Autotuned to see Young Tea and his crew for Avery Nanofusion clear bra. Once that's done I am going to try and get OEM Audio+ as soon as possible.

That's a good deal, I think the tray costs almost that. I will say that tray saved my ass today. I've been carting around coolant, oil, and tools for the past week... half my damn garage really, just as insurance in case shit happens post-supercharger install. One of the coolant bottles had a leak and filled a good bit of the tray, but contained it all.

The big, shitty thing about Hyperblue, which you'll notice quickly, is it doesn't hide swirls or spots at all. It's probably one of the worst for seeing things like that. Also I hear good things about that audio system, just can't justify the cost.

I had the clear bra put on. It's awesome. Did it because I heard how prone this car is to paint chips. I went with xpel ultimate. It's a really great film.
