Question with used catback exhaust

Hey everyone, I am gonna purchased a used Greddy catback exhaust system, now with that said, the seller said he has the installation part, is it okay to reuse those parts or is it recommended to get a new one instead?

Also how do I test it for leaks? and make sure that its installed properly?

Thanks!

Well, you can try the old parts ..... if they leak ..... get new gaskets.

An exhaust leak can usually be "heard" ...... and/or will leave a sooty streak around the leak.

Sweet, and for the gasket, is there a certain place I should get it from? Or any auto store should work?

Thanks!

Most auto stores should have them. However, I would take the old ones in to make sure they match.

I had an exhaust leak with my dezod exhaust gaskets. I went and got OEM ones from Subaru and they work.

Just sure they are the same size piping

I'll give the current one on the OEM a try and see if it would work, hopefully it does lol, if not I think I can pick up that Grimmspeed one locally.

Thanks guys!
