Painted carbon wing?

How bad is that? Don't get me wrong I love the way carbon looks, but my Voltex Type 2 wing is a bit messed up. There are multiple cracks in resin all over the external edge, quite deep ones and highly noticeable. My carbon guy couldn't really get rid of it with sanding.

Not sure if there any other options, rather than painting or wrapping it with vinyl.

Any advise guys?

In a case like this I think wrapping it might be the better option. I'd be concerned that those cracks would crack through the paint eventually.

I'd have a body shop take a look for you. I've seen cracked carbon hoods repaired before and you would hardly know. I believe the shop near me sands all of the resin off and then re-resins the area, wet sands the whole hood and then reclears the hood. I would think the same method could apply to a wing.

Well, that's what I thought as well. Re-resin the whole thing is the best option, but I'm not sure if I can fine someone who can do it properly down here (I'm not in the US).
