Hey Nova, I am fully aware of the Ventura area. I actually am a UCSB alum so I wasn't too far up from Ventura or Oxnard area.

Btw, I had a friend snapchat me saying if I was at Buena Lanes at Ventura a few weeks ago because they saw a HyperBlue there but the license plate was located in the front, mines at the side so I told them it wasn't me, that's the only time I've heard of a HyperBlue in the area besides me. On a different side note, Person with the HyperBlue BRZ in the video, are you on this forum?? Found this on youtube lol, stock hyperblue seems like it, part of the video shows them removing stock air filter possibly putting in drop in K&N. Yeah, I have a major problem with analog gauges everywhere. Sorry to anyone that likes it, but I personally feel like it just becomes a clusterfuck at some point.
The left gauge is an Innovate ECB-1. It handles my wideband AFR, boost display, ethanol content, and fuel temp. I didn't wire the ethanol sensor since there's no ethanol here, but I wanted it for future expansion when I get a kit. I personally think the ethanol gauges included in all of the flex fuel kits look like ass and wouldn't mesh with my theme well. The main cluster is a custom job I'm working on. I'll be refitting everything again with white LEDs and individually tinting portions of the display with cinematic lighting films, in more of a Hyperblue kind of blue, since blue LEDs only come in true blue. The head unit is a Joying JY-TQ123 "Toyota Universal" Android system. I'm trying to work out a lot of kinks with that right now. The app you see running is Torque. I personally hate Torque. I think it's an inferior app, because it is, to DashCommand. Out of the box, it lacks PIDs that DashCommand supports out of the box, and its theme engine sucks. My issue is I'm only getting like a 10% connection rate to DashCommand, while Torque works 100% of the time. For data, I piggyback off of my phone's internet connection. Usually I'm running Spotify/Pandora, Waze/Maps/Sygic, and Torque/DashCommand at the same time, no hiccups. Sometimes a browser and e-mail too. |

I don't like how this head unit handles bluetooth. I'm pretty sure it's fucking up the connection to DashCommand since I've never had issues with it before. I might get a USB OBD reader. I think it's a better and faster solution anyway. |

So I'm on my way for an oil change..the ABS and traction light came on at the same time while braking towards my exit on the freeway (exit was backed up with cars so I had to brake a little bit hard, but no brake squeal.) It was at the dealership when I learned that not just ABS was on but my brake lights weren't turning on. They said they'd give a call tomorrow so yeah..lol. My brake fluid doesn't look low, besides the car has 9k miles so I'm hoping it's not a hard fix and that warranty is covered.
