But in the end, they are in the business of making money and the miata is the mvp. I like the new look. I'm sure there will be some company somewhere who will make the conversion kit to convert the top to removable type top.

It looks like Mazda tried to satisfy the desire of both those that wanted a coupe version and those that wanted a removable hard top version with one compromised car. As with most compromises it satisfies no one completely.
I find it interesting but dislike the flying buttress and vertical rear window glass design.
