Looks interesting...but not a substitute for a fixed roof coupe, which is the only kind of car I will buy.

This is cool and all, but I don't understand why Mazda designers preferred this extremely complex mechanism over a much simpler 911 Targa-style sliding glass panel which would also provide greater rigidity

Just kidding, but if this was a thing when I was choosing my new car I would've actually cross shopped it. Only reason I didn't is because I really dislike convertibles.

Mazda is on a roll. I hope they go through with their RX-VISION and make a new Rotary with all of the problems of a Rotary solved.
