Is Oceanic blue same as Ultramarine ? Well I have a 2015 Ultramarine and have bought the PlastiDip to do my wheels Lime Green. Pic not my car, but what I intend to do if ever I get around to it. I will not paint the entire wheel (too tacky), just portions of it...either the bright OR the background. I've looked at all pics of Ultramarine cars in Google images and like this color best, though I'd never have thought of this combination on my own. Since we have no choice of interior color, why worry about how it might affect the exterior. I am normally quite conservative, yet now age 69, so WTF, who cares anymore.

So I painted my wheels lime green on my Veloster before I traded it in for my FRS. I got a lot of middle fingers because people thought I was a Sea Hawks fan.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1458698447379.jpg

man, that combo looks amazing! you are right, never thought to check ultramarine out to get a better idea. I'm going to look through now. I agree with you on the whole tire plasti dipped being tacky, but accenting it would set it off! I have a very interesting idea for my car after really looking at it this weekend.

cheers

Lime green wheels and painted calipers... I must have stumbled into srt4 forum from 10 years ago.

This thread is full of bad ideas and poor taste

Color I picked is Electric lime green #3732 for My Ultramarine car.

I think it much better contrast for the Ultramarine than the, I'd guess, Blaze Green which shows on the OPs Blue Hyundai above.

I see now, on the DipYourCar website, there is also a color Sublime Green...which looks very similar to Electric Lime green.

Note: Dip Your Car is not the manufacturer's website, yet DipYourCar has videos, and often has 20% or so, discounts on spray cans of PlastiDip brand paint.

Colors: https://www.dipyourcar.com/collectio...ti-dip-colors#

It was just an example. If I were to paint the calipers, they would be aftermarket ones. More so, I am looking for a combo that I can contrast the color with. I am not a fan of the vibrant lime green. Red and Black, White and Blue, White and Green, Black and Green -these are all colors that flow well. This was my goal with this post, finding that color that flowed well.
