Will do. Should be arriving this week but most likely won't get to installing them until early February.

DSOmegaX STi BRZ tS Completed Build
Some new additions to the vehicle!
The first, as previewed in the previous post, is the tS airbag cover. This is the genuine article and not an overlay badge. One thing I love about the actual part is that the badge has an embossed quality to it. I've been asked how I got the part and the long story short is that a good friend of mine was in Japan at the time of TAS 2016. I found the part number for the airbag cover and he was able to order it and pick it up from a Subaru distribution warehouse. He then removed the airbag "bomb" portion of it, thereby removing the dangerous good classification the item has when shipped, and simply brought back the leather airbag cover itself. ![]() ![]() The second part is the tS cover extensions. Now STi indicates that this is an aero piece that is actually function, but of course I have severe doubts. Its pretty much cosmetic to me, but just one of those parts that made me go "well why not." The unfortunate part is that with the fog light covers that come with the Limited trim, the covers are not a 100% perfect fit; the extensions are designed to go with the NON-fog light covers that come on the Premium trim, which have fins that are just different enough that there's a slight gap when installed on mine. The good thing is that you put black vinyl underneath the part which helps to hide the gaps unless you're looking up close at it. ![]() ![]() ![]() Next up are the Cusco 16mm front and rear sway bar. With this setup and the rest of my suspension, the car corners extremely smooth. There's a slight hint of oversteer from going with the larger rear sway when pushed, but otherwise the car feels completely neutral, which is what I aim for. No discernible change in ride quality so no complaints whatsoever there. ![]() ![]() Otherwise, the STi rear subassembly bushings are still pending. I didn't realize the part is a full replacement of the bushings and not an insert, so a press is required.

I got mine from Japan parts when the lip kit wasn't out in the US yet. You can just pick them up at any dealership now though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for the update on the extension. They look great even with the gap. I'll be looking to pick up a pair in the future.

Awesome build, been eyeing the Sti springs and axleback for a long time, that airbag cover really tops off the interior! Keep it up love this thing.

Do you think the wing in this spec (I'm looking at the apr gtc200 scca spec which is similarly sized to this one in order to save some $) would look good with the TRD spoiler? I've seen a couple of builds with a lip spoiler + gt wing combo, but they're all widebody/crazy big wang crowd. I'm trying to decide if I need to go the seibon gt route to compensate for the asthetic the TRD lip creates. |

Considering that's the setup on the 14R60, I'd say it's pretty legitimate ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

just read through the whole build and i love it! def sway me to get some sti wheels in 18's. im still iffy on the sti springs though, i want a very very mild drop but 15mm seems too minimal, the front is fine but rear gap still seems pretty big. with that said, i haven't completely ruled it out yet. with the sti springs, is there really any need to angle? or for most places you can just go head in no problem, maybe just at a lower speed or something.
