Invidia Q300 Owners have this water?

I currently have Invidia Q300 and i was changing my oil today.
i noticed that some kind of fluid on my drive way so i thought it was oil was leaking from drain bolt but it wasnt.
I found out it was water from Q300 at muffler (both sides but i only took picture of one side)

I am wondering other Q300 owners have this as well.
Should i concern on this? i think it's just moisture got up and turned into water when muffler got hot.

any comment?

Quite normal on any car with a muffler...on an internal combustion engine.

After turning off the engine, the dry, hot interior of the exhaust system pulls in moisture from the air...water vapor.

You may have noticed from the rear, a car just started cold. Water comes out of it's exhaust...the water which went in there after the engine was turned off.

Some mufflers may have a drain hole for excess water to exit...yet certainly not all mufflers.

And many mufflers have a fiber material within (muffler packing...designed to change the muffler's sound during engine running conditions), which can soak up water, holds it...until the later hot muffler dries it out.

You might question Invidia as to what they may use for muffler packing.

Also, water is a byproduct of combustion. When your car is running, it is a vapor, but it will condense in the cooler portions of your exhaust and even more once the engine is stopped.

Its one of the big reasons (plus NOx) that exhausts corrode from the inside-out.

I have not noticed this on my Q300, but it is probably excess moisture like everyone said.

i usually noticed this at exhaust tip but never seen dripping water from muffler.
as long as i dont have air leak, i should be fine. so i was making sure.

If you are dripping from the muffler and there are no visible marks of water dripping down from a flange or exhaust tip, your muffler canister is not 100% sealed and has a leak, and it should be fixed or warrantied.

damm...i got it as used. i dont think i see dripping water...
what method do i need to seal it there?

EDIT: i researched little but isnt that like weep hole to escape some of water?

I have it. Good thing it is stainless steel. I live in the humid south, so I consider condensation on anything a normal part of life

I think you need a better picture of the overall setup and where the water is coming from.

The problem with these muffler endtank design is that it is just stamped steel w/ a rolled edge. Sometimes they weld it shut, but if it's weeping water out of the edge (and not from the tips) then there is a way for moisture to rust and cause a leak later on.

It may be perfectly fine now, but depending on usage you may be replacing the canister or rear muffler sooner than you wanted.

The first mufflers on the market 15-20 years ago often were all mild steel w/ coating, and the resonators would have to be replaced often since any defects in internal welding would cause them to leak and rust through prematurely. Modern exhausts are stainless steel and less prone to rust, but it still happens as the methods of manufacturing are still the same.

Better picture of where? That area is where water i saw. Other areas of muffler is fine. Thanks for explanation. I drive my car 1-2 times per week and i didnt check often. This was i noticed first time.. I will keep checking if it doesnt happen again then it is moisture got up there.

Better shot of entire canister and possible sources of water. All I can see is the edge of the canister, not the entire endtank or other parts of that muffler.

Checked entire canister and no water but that area. So i only took picture that edge.
