who watched qualifying? i was there with a timing screen on my phone so i could follow it, apart from the last 4 minutes it was ok i guess.

was it easy to follow watching on tv? anyone actually like it? it's been slammed by pretty much every team boss and all the commentry team at skyf1

Holy shit!!! Looked like Alonso mis-timed stepping out. Hell of an air bourne ride with the straight line velocity. Thank god he climbed out ok.

Watching the slow motion as the radiator/oil cooler sprayed everywhere after grazing the first wall was pretty cool.

Sucks about Ferrari's strategy call killing off there chance at an upset but that last minute surge when Vettel was on the rails and absolute limit where you could just see both ends coming loose from above was fantastic to watch.

We can only hope the season carries on like this. Huge kudos to the racing overall. My personal opinion is it stayed like an Indy Car race where it was pack racing where people could take chances sticking there noses in there for much longer than the usual first 5 laps of the past couple years.

Only think that sucks is now I have to wait till my birthday weekend for both series to be racing again.

I thought it was a pretty good race overall. We knew the attrition rate would be high, as it always is on the first race. Turn 1 was hairy. Good to see Ferrari pounce even though I'm an AMG fan. I like how tight the midfield is this year. Haas finishing 6th, AMAZING. I'm a happy viewer.

This was a super exciting race. I really hope it's still close without the high attrition rate as we move forward. Might make a trip to the USGP worth the price of addmision

Haas caught a break but damn did the capitalize. Freaking awesome!
