Leave it CF. It goes well with all the black accents.

I feel like a black wrap on the roof might look good if you keep the hood black or carbon fiber. But I am also curious what blue would look like.

Hah. I was looking pretty hard at that hood earlier. Funny. Doesn't make much sense with my new setup though.

What I have plans for is a reverse vented CF hood, and I'll be leaving the vents themselves CF but everything else will be HB.

I want to see Process West fab up a turbo kit with a verticooler just for one of those hoods. Would be awesome.

Looks much better in the daylight, even if it is raining.

Also I need to get a real camera...

But whyyyyy
Personally, I do not like the look of the hood.

PS, if anyone starts experimenting with aftermarket trunks, I want your stock one.

That hood doesn't totally offend me. It keeps true to the STI theme. Hell, I would usually say "color match" that thing, but this just works. Definitely keep us updated with some new pictures.

I think it looks fairly OEM Subaru with the exception of the side vents. Difficult to tell without sensor probes, but there's also the possibility that it could improve engine bay temps.

I would never ever do anything like this on my own car, but people have different visions.

If I was after lowering temps, I'd use the velox hood louvers.
But, to each their own, I don't disapprove, just hate seeing the beautiful hyper blue body work get taken out.

I'll most likely be going Blue with black accent on the scoop. Also I'll freely admit that lowering temps was ~20% of why I got this hood. I've always had love for the WRX hood scoops and I think looks really good on these cars.
