We call it a Vette, but I think thats mostly because of a regional thing.

Also, little dramatic background (beware; feels ahead), my father-in-law was the second owner of this car in 1975, daily drove it (as the rolled odometer would attest, 105,8XX total miles), and then garage queened it after my wife was born. It was his wedding present to us. He passed away suddenly last summer, so the car has a very special meaning to us, which is why I took some exception here (only some, as a large number of 'vette owners are d*ckholes).

You would have liked him, he was a good man.

You obviously don't fit the class of 'Vette owners I was refereeing to anyway or else every third post you ever made would have included "well my 'Vette..." and I don't remember you ever mentioning it before. Now I have to get there someday just to see the car if nothing else.
