I dunno, I think their price tag will put them it off reach for many people. I don't know that they make anything that no one else does anyways right?

Thumbs up

i was indifferent but now... i want it.

Someone earlier mentioned that a front license plate is going to break up that large open front grille and hide the center dip on the mouthguard so those two minor concerns of mine are now gone.

I like the headlights. I like the taillights. I like the fender garnish but not crazy about the 86 logo circle there. placement is low to me... I like the wheels.

Indifferent on the white trim replacing red, but i think it will coordinate better with other exterior colors. I may pick up the white one now because I tend to be overly matchy . Steering wheel controls are small enough to be OK.

Overall, I like it and would buy.

Its funny to me at this point that some people are actually hoping for a front license plate to break up the lines on the front fascia.

When I see this:

I'm going to be glass half full and choose to see this:

Maybe this is a beer goggles situation, but the front ends are strikingly similar - and I'm ok with that. Yeah I don't love the fangs, but I really want to see this in person. These marketing images always put the car in a fake lighting situation where there's no reflectivity and the paint looks matte. They are never flattering.

They're "strikingly similar" in that there's a clear design language and they're both blue. The new front is to the LFA's as the new TC's front end was to the FR-S.

I think that's a stretch. The only thing the front end of the FR-S / TC share is the general shape of the bumper opening - and a scion badge. Nothing else translates, even remotely.

I laughed so hard at that!
I am sorry but the plate will still be below that droopy snout. Sure it will hide the dip in the crash bar but the melted section above it will remain. I could like the design if they had just simply carried the crease line across the whole bumper instead of part was from each side and then stopping.
Once again these are my thoughts and I do not expect everybody to agree!

Anything will fit anything if you rework it enough but I highly doubt that they are a bolt on.

My perspective has definitely changed after 24 hours... minus the steering wheel, and taillights... i like the previous minimalist design on the steering wheel.. the new taillights are a big no no in my books.. i actually like the old tail lights.. shouldve kept the old tail lights, and leave the new headlights

it can creat more downforce in the front though, and I think this is the main reason.
Dumb question: where did the turn signals go?

Optionally, you could shave the pedo stache

Or if they make a replacement, that little dip...
