Do these CA events even fill up? I'm reading that only 37 people are registered?
That's crazy considering it's extremely difficult to even get high on wait list for any prosolo event within 10 hours over here. |

They used to. Way back in the day when I started, National Tours (now called Champ tours) in San Diego had a 320 person entry limit and they sold out. Once or twice they tried nudging that cap even higher. Back then my region was also capping out events (210 drivers).
Ever since the financial crisis it hasn't been the same. Vegas and Phoenix were among the hardest hit. On another note thanks SCCA for making SD a math tour, now we have no Champ tour within a 10 hour drive. WTF. I get enough calculator racing at my locals. |
