i dont have a v-2

How do I get a 93 octane tune? I've bought all required parts.

I'm about to install the supercharger and wanting to make sure, as far as I know the flash editor only has 91 and e85 right?

If you have the flash editor and want a 93 octane tune, you can send it to us to have it added.

Send us an email to support@hkususa.com and we'll give you an RGA number. Then you can ship it to us and we'll flash it for you. You'll keep your 91 and e85 tunes and the 93 tune will be added to the 3rd slot.

Just to make sure, you do have a '13 or '14, right? Right now, the '15+ model years are not yet supported by the Flash Editor.

The V3 kit comes with a pressure release valve. If you want to run a SSQ BOV, it would take some custom modifications to make it work. There's not really any performance benefit to making those modifications so we don't recommend it.

Yes sir, I will send an email tonight after work, 2013 model.

I will be running your 93 tune with tomei el catless, Hks dual res front pipe, Corsa exhaust, Hks spark plugs, Hks oil cooler and the v3 kit. Hopefully things work out!

It's a good kit, remember it's the same blower used by the HKS time attack csr featured in that speedhunters article as well as the same blower used on the pikes peak time attack car.

Previous user of the V1 kit , this time we upgraded to V2 ...fully unrestricted, the supercharger blows in a fully rebuild engine with HKS 2.1 stroker, HKS Vcams, HKS injectors, HKS manifold , no cats, Tomei over Pipe, Blitz straight pipe and finaly HKS highpower Spec-L firing trough pretty much every gears.

The results are ... interesting on the same type of dyno (dynapack) as wbradley it scored 366 whp, and 295 ft/lb of torque, there is still meat on the bone, but for the sake of not killing the transmission too fast we decided it was good enough ... best run was 380whp, that sets for way over 400 crank hp

here is the dyno for the records, as you see the dynapack isn't a very forgiving device given the 145hp stock at the wheels, but that's just the norm on it .. So its more than x2.5 stock power.

Small video of the Dyno run:

And the car in action, it is just a beast ...

Can't be happier with the setup ! feel free to ask for anything you would like to know.
Just curious what size pulley and octane fuel are you using?

Any HKS v3 supercharger owners on here running the kit with an open flash tablet? Considering buying this kit and would really like to use so I don't have to spend more money for an ECUtek tune. Please let me know!!

hks

alright here is my contribution to the thread.

Tuned at Drift Office with Ecutek 92 octane

Hks Version 2 9 psi
Tomei Uel Headers
Ark Performance Exhaust

A unsafe no restrictor plate dyno run. 16psi, Nice numbers but was losing fuel up top maxing out stock injectors.

my current tune at 9 psi compared to a stock frs
