Really looking forward to the rear kit photos and details on installation process. I heard that the rear kit requires modification of the rear bumper. I would really like to know exactly what modifications to the rear bumper are required and how difficult they are.

if you can, please post up a pic of the rear without the lower skirt as some of us will only fit the truck spoiler and would love to see a pic.

thanks in advance.

actually post a pic of the lights against a wall at night so we can see what the beam pattern is. I seriously doubt these will be pointed in the US light direction. I believe Europe gets the GT86? May have been better to import the headlights from a right hand drive country like Germany.

If they are JDM lights, then yes, they will be designed for RHD vehicles and have an incorrect beam pattern for US roads. LHD lights from an EDM version of the FRS would be the way to go OR save some money and retrofit some HID projectors into your lights instead.

That car looks amazing, and the Toyota die-hard in me wants one sooo bad, but I don't think I can justify spending an extra five grand on a kit and headlights to put on a bare-bones FR-S when I can just buy the BRZ for less and wait for a non-OEM kit to come out. $1181 each plus shipping from Japan for those headlights nearly covers the difference between the FR-S and the BRZ Limited...

Nope! I just don't like emblems that have their name spelled across it. The flat silver also makes it look cheap.

+1.

I don't like the Scion emblems for those two reasons, particularly on the Firestorm. I'm considering taking the Scion logos, filling the letters flush with glue, acrylic or some othe clear liquid, then either painting or liquidipping them to flat black to match the black trim on the car.

That's a cool idea. Please post up pics of the outcome. :happy0180:

Yep, the Scion across the front is as ugly and bland as the Nissan emblems are. That ain't placebo, that's just an ugly ass emblem which ruins the look. Maybe if kept the tornado looking "S" it would be less of an eyesore.

Cool that they are creating their own identity here in the US, but I wish they would put a little more effort. Case in point, look at the JDM bB emblem vs the USDM xB emblem.
