I don't recall there being a way. There are some non Series Blues with vins being <1000.

They just have special color interior & wheels put on @ factory. The body kit are installed @ dealer/port after it's shipped to the land of north america. Cuz I watched mine sti kit being install @ dealer @ the day of delivery.

But series blues are the first batch of the 2015s.

So you get all the minor changes made to the car minus rear camera. lol

PS: my vin is 0707, you can ask him to see what his vin is

Not like it matters, but it's probably in the first 2 thousands.

edit: my VIN ends with 1361, whatever that means

HyperBlue owner here, can someone chime in on the color of the lip kit? Does it have a glossy finish or a matte-like finish?

Hey benrz,

the lip kit is more matte than gloss. It isn't a bad matte though. I don't want to give the impression that it is super flat. I saw it on a hyperblue in person and thought it really set the hyperblue off! The HyperBlue really needs the lip kit.

I'm down to make a complete list of all the Series.Blue VINs just like I did with the Series.HyperBlue VINs with the production day, first retail location, and color. I can probably do it within 20 days, but I'd want it sticky'd along with the Series.HyperBlue VIN Registry just because it is a little bit of a pain in the butt to do it.

However, I think it will be great to have 10 years from now when there is a pre-owned market of them.

Excellent! I know it's twice the work with twice the cars, though. Looking forward to results.
