Lol I like to remind myself. Plus having a built a ride that would cost $40k+ (USD) to replace in new car money for much less than that made me feel proud (my WRX I bought used). People ask what I've done to my car and I have a list.. a long list. It's the best when they are non-car guys and just stand there in shock of how you have replaced more parts than they knew a car even had. After all the wrenching too (especially when you don't want to have to ever do that particular job ever again) all you really have left besides the finished product are the photos you take. I think having that constant reminder of the money and the wrench time has always helped me take better care of my car. Athough I suppose dusting some brand new Audi/BMW/whatever in a 13 yr old Subaru gave me a certain satisfaction regardless of whether I documented the work.

Seriously, screw you mother nature. The weather here is just silly. It was like 70 and rainy yesterday, today it's going to hit at least 70 and stay mostly sunny. By Friday the low will be 33 and the high will be 50. The low on Sunday is 30! And there's a chance for snow.

This is commonly called "spring" where I come from. It will be followed by a fairly constant state called "summer" and then we will have the chaos known as "fall" to deal with.

Lucky!! you get 3 seasons! on the west coast we get Winter and construction season.
