I pride myself on my ability to navigate traffic and change lanes without the brakes at all. I'm really good at speeding up, letting off, moving over until I make it to the lane that I want. Some times I never have to brake until I hit my exit.

people here know 2 speeds. flat out wide open and coasting. that's it. and when it comes to stopping at traffic lights they like to stop as many times as possible scooting up a few feet at a time. I think they believe this practice will make the light change faster. so when this happens and they're 2" off the bumper in front of them they have to wait for them to move first. this makes it twice as long to get through a light and backs up traffic forever. of course it doesn't help that city planners couldn't sync 2 traffic lights to save their lives. it's a fracking Greek tragedy driving here. people can't stand to be passed so even when they're backing up the world in the left lane the second someone passes them on the right they speed up to keep pace and stop anyone from getting by either car. this is also a problem. people like to form rolling road blocks. they'll line the highway just far enough off the corner of the next car over to prevent anyone from getting by either. you can literally see the massive schools of cars and giant gaps in between each grouping on the highway. we have 5 and sometimes 6 lane highways here so it's quite the sight to see. worst part of all is the suicidal nature of drivers here. if so much as one snow flake hits a person's windshield if they feel like they won't make it to the store to load up on milk and bread they will abandon all hope for life and a future by plowing their car into the first suitable object they can find in an attempt to commit suicide. it can be another car(I'm taking you with me) or a power/telephone pole(no lights for you after my death). I swear it's a testament to my supreme and unflappable degree of my self control that I haven't gone on some sort of traffic induced rampage. it's also no coincidence that I chose to live so close to work. ![]() /rant |

Yeah definitely be smooth when driving and don't position yourself to get fucked. That said, it was a **** move to brake check. Like at first the person seemed like maybe they were going pass the van and/or they were avoiding the car coming in on the onramp, so as much as I hate people who drive slow in the left lane maybe he had to right to be there at first. HOWEVER, if someone behind wants to go faster, (and judging by the truck neither were probably doing the speed limit) just move over and let the other guy go. There is nothing to loose.
1) he won't be on your ass anymore. And often times its both parties who end up in the ditch or maybe just you after the faster guy goes around and brakes checks you with better brakes than you have. 2) he might get your ticket when he springs the trap ahead you 3) if there is road hazard he will hit it first. 4) he can ride up other peoples asses and get them out of the way for you without you having to risk getting brake checked by some self-righteous vigliante speed limit enforcer Also I wish this was enforced like
much more often. Like everyday all the time. And remember kids, NO ONE has the right to be in the left lane except to pass. It's not a travel lane. Either you making forward progress on a nearby car in the other lane or GTFO. It doesn't matter if you are going 45 or 85, it's a PASSING lane for passing only. Being there and being slower than everyone else disrupts the flow of traffic is dangerous for everyone around you. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk |

By "interior bits" are you just referring to the trim around the shift boot, vents, etc.? I feel like 5'x2' should be sufficient if you arrange and cut everything as tightly on that sheet as possible.
