If they are near as good as they look the FRS would be history in a second!

I knew about them I thought he was joking about what is a Holden lol

It is a bit of a dream. The hours are good but the pay is shit.

You will be able to buy a Porsche while I'm still driving my BRZ

I remember freshman year of college thinking how crazy it was that people would literally be willing to spend a third of their life in school...Fast forward to now and I'm doing the same thing.

It's worth noting that this was when I was in business and dreaded going to school everyday. Switching majors and career goals was the best thing I could have ever done. I honestly love school now, but do look forward to actually starting my career at some point lol.

I dropped out of high school, and somehow ended up working at MS :P

My dad passed away about 4 years after he retired, and I didn't want to go down that path.

Enjoy it while you can!

Sorry to hear that man...I hear that a lot when people retire. I feel like when I do I'll want to still work or at least find a hobby that gives me a feeling of purpose.

What a difference 3.5 years makes...

33, Senior Financial Analyst at the same University. Now, I'm married, have one kid (an 18-month-old little boy), and I've been at the University for just over 9 years now and finally making decent money (by our University's standards anyway, lol).

Oh--and I'm now also leasing a Prius C as daily driver so my FR-S can become our permanent fun car. Yes, a Prius... it actually turns pretty well for being a wompy assh0le-mobile, lol.

No changes to our love of the FR-S, though--just to some of the parts on the car.

I still LOVE driving my FR-S--and my husband still loves driving it, too. Now, we're both looking forward to our kid turning two so we can install his fancy forward-facing car seat in the FR-S and get him in on the fun, too! Can't wait till the kid's old enough to go-kart!
