Yea but look at how that vette left and how the frs left... Big difference, 'vette hooked and booked, both IRS cars. With a good 60' your mph will go down its common sense.

Also in the description they mentioned that the vette usually traps 140s

2 things,
You believe the vette video even though you can't see the numbers on the board.
This is proof that a rear wheel drive irs car can do a 9.8sec 138mph run down the 1/4 mile. Which is even quicker than the frs.

Lets be honest. Even if they post this video there will still be people who bitch and moan about something... They will want dynos, pics of the engine bay, third party inspections, interrogations of the track operators, analysis of the timing board ect.

Lets be honest that vette was twice as fast out of the hole and almost pulled the front wheels. I don't think it's asking to much for a complete pass video. That was the rules of this game from day one. I'm sure if you have a video of the launch they filmed the whole pass. who just stops the camera after 60ft? No one is bitching but to claim to be the worlds fastest and not show the complete pass like in all the other videos is kinda bogus. I waited 7 months to see the video and talk about a let down, sure it was a excellent commercial but did very little to back up his claims of a 9 second pass..


Sure their are people that would want everything that you listed but in this instance I would just like a video of a complete pass uncut. I never questioned pure autos 9 second pass. that 2j is a beast pushing damn near 1000hp, but to claim 9seconds with half the hp a terrible launch burning tires thru 2nd gear I need a little more than a pic of the time slip to say ya that ran a 9.
I ran the numbers at 2800lbs and 550 hp as stated by their post sure its possible to get into the 9s but not with a 60ft like that. It would take a 1.3 60ft and a perfect pass with perfect weather. Your would need over 700 hp to get a 9 with a 1.5 60ft.
I know 700 hp with a fa20 is possible, but if we take this video as proof then I don't want to hear any bitching when I post a time slip with no video saying I beat it. Filming is a pain in the ass for me as I am a 2 man crew at the track. I should be watching my car not worried about a video but I try to please.
In closing I really could care less about Fiebruz claim of first to hit 9seconds no disrespect because that is a awesome goal. But the paddle shifting sequential trans ruins it for me. My goal is 9seconds with full interior and factory drivetrain and being a daily driver. And before anyone says the car has full interior that is wrong, watch the video.
Raven we go back a long time and I hope we still are cool after this post, I respect you to the highest levels I just can't get behind this video as proof.

Im not saying the vette did or did not go 9.8 @ 138 I'm just comparing two videos making the same claim. The vette hands down launched faster when comparing videos

Heres a video of the full pass. Much like the vette video theres no focusing of the boards at the end of the run. And theres even a guy saying the time, only in spanish. Study it and you will see this is a 9 second pass.

I couldn't agree more a video would be nice and definitely given the claim should be provided. I'm just saying that some people on here never seem to be satisfied regardless of what's provided. My post wasn't directed at you either. I just think some of the expectations that people are wanting on this forum aren't realistic.

Unfortunatelly the day of the 9 seconds pass, we went without our video guy, we just have footage from our gopros, and AiM in cam camera. One of our guys has a iphone video, but we can't upload it from the phone. We'll upload tomorrow.

Very cool brother, my son gets to have the fun I don't get to drive only build on it and a occasional ride along. And to be honest I lied about the jack part lol but I did have a coke and a cell phone.......
