Ever see a skidoo at the strip?! 1.2-1.3s 60s, and it could have been faster. The owner had it detuned on launch because he was getting neck problems. I'll admit, the first time I saw it I kinda chuckled. Then I watched him click off an 8 second pass on a cold track like it was nothing. Fucking awesome.

I'm sorry but a shady ass half visible time slip, no board time and if you look in between 1:20 - 1:23 in the video he hits the brakes at the 1/8th mile.

I have seen a snowmobile at the strip, in fact my buddy up in toronto has a 650hp drag snowmobile. What does that have to do with this. Youre comparing apples to orange.

Dude I would love for them to bring their cars over here.. I would show at any track in the continental US to race them N/A or F/I doesn't matter to me...I will even run full interior factory seats against their stripped down cars. Whatever it takes to run... 200 to 300lbs weight difference is no big deal to me.....

Please link to the formal sanctioning body and documentation that deemed this the "world's fastest".

TCOAT I recommend you for running the sanctioning body.....

Salary?

LOL We all have our pet peeves and people making unsupportable claims at being the "best in the world" is one of mine. They very probably are the fastest but the world is a big place and how do they back that claim up? Just saying it does not make it fact. I know this because I am the smartest person in the world!

Well I have never seen anybody else post it (that seems to be the criteria) so yes, yes I am.

Interesting.
The 2 I went in had different SC's + other mods. Of course I was also comparing to my stock 86...

Its not really all that honestly, spins a lot unless you have a nasty tire on it lol. For drag racing I would prefer a 500hp fbody or foxbody. 500 hp in a notchback is nasty.

Yeah I was coming from full bolt ons and a great tune to both those CARB tuned so the gap was smaller. I am sure with a little work those other 2 cars could have been much faster. If I do go FI though I will be going turbo now. That way I can up the power until I am happy or then motor goes lol!

Here is a video of the car running a 10.31 at about the same trap speed with a terrible launch. With the timing board in the video. It's not hard to believe with what looks like a much better launch the car ran a 9.9.
