STX Rules and Setup Questions

This. Especially since the V3 comes with some very soft spring rates now, so you have to factor the price of a new pair of springs into the V3. 230/280 F/R I believe. Too soft for STX.

I have on numerous occasions attempted to read this whole thread with no luck. One of these days, I'll make it through. Thanks for pulling the info up the stack. Now to see if I can still edit my post.

I'm trying to determine exactly which LCAs are stx legal? My list and understanding is as follows:

SPC - Legal configuration available. By default, bad bushing material and additional metal. Legal with bushing swap (FR.Sport Part No. 10594)
Whiteline (newer model) - Legal
Truhart - Stated to have been run at nationals by Scooby South*, so legal?
Velox - Stated "legal" configuration available.
RacerX - Stated "legal" configuration available.
Cusco - Not legal due to spherical bearing. But there are people stating to use these in STX**?
RS*R - Legal.
Agency Power - Not legal due to spherical bearing.

I'm pretty confused. From my reading of the rules, any of them with a bushing is legal as long as the bushing has no more metal in it than stock. That seems like something difficult to really assess?

The Whiteline and SPC would both appear to be legal.

I have the Whiteline on order and planned to run them at Miller Park; so I'm feeling a bit worried here. In closing I want to be clear I did attempt to read the rules myself, and by my understanding plan to run the Whiteline.

He's alive! We'll see. I go to Lake Country Alignment on the 18th; the car should be fully dialed in by April 1st. We'll see if the driver is ready.

For STX I assume you can change the stereo, but I remember having a discussion at an event and the person was arguing you couldn't.

Can I change to a single-din stereo?

Can't remove it or any speakers but I'm pretty sure they can be changed out

Has anyone in the STX group here installed this electronic gauge console?

If so where did you get the sensor adapters or did you use an oil cooler routing plate under the filter as the input source? TIA, DP

I did, though I have dash cam monitors in the space that opened up (which is why I made the change in the first place.) Have to go dig up the relevant rules (or lack therein) now.

Should fall under the comfort and convenience section. As long as you're replacing it and not just taking out the weight it should be fine.

Has anyone tried running a 18x9 with the 265/35/18? There are almost no wheels out there but I did see Enkei is going to start selling the GTC01RR in the US, it has an 18x9 +40 version. Unfortunately it's also $550/wheel.
