Im hella dumb. Installed my pads and rotors before the rain came but didnt think about how I was gonna bed them in...

not an option. lol. I havent been on OEM pads in 60k miles. And the rotors are a used set I got since my last ones wore uneven. Now one rotor was hella grooved on one side and the pad was eating away at itself (small chunks missing. Its kinda wierd cuz its the second time they wore uneven but different sides wore faster each time

Wonder what's causing it to do that?

yeah, IDK. I thought I may need to rebuild a caliper but now that its happened once on each side on two seperate occasions I have no idea.

...huh.

Guess now is the time to get my wheels redone.

Also installed a new exhaust. It's very quiet, and doesn't even sorta fit haha.

Im confused. Where your wheels used and someone did a crappy paint job or something? And what exhaust if it fits so badly?

Yep. One-coat rattlecan, no prep work. Metallic orange!

Tanabe Medallion. Worth it, though. Sounds good but almost hits the body, differential, diffuser, and bumper.

That sucks. And the single or dual exit? I have the single and the welds were kinda shitty. fitment is ok though. I think Tanabe must not have the best quality control

I was about to order some RPF1's for the FRS next week, but today while working on my newest toyota truck build I realized the wheels I bought the way the center bore is machined it doesn't sit correctly on my hub mounting surface. It's actually an issue with the hub. It looks like I only need to turn about 300,000 thousands of an inch = 8MM = .31 inch. I'm not worried about them being hub centric at all, but the wheels are cast so I don't wanna machine em....nor do I want to really machine the hub as it'd take a HSS bit first to remove the first layer, then chuck a carbide in after to dial it in....what i'm getting at is it's gonna dam near destroy the HSS and possibly might shatter a carbide tooling...so a shop is gonna likely charge $200 for the job..
I'd buy tooling and have my friend do it but he is out of work currently.
and I don't have access to a mill to do it myself...
Long story...I know useless bullshit..but if you made it this far...
The ONLY viable solution is:

Guess the truck is getting RPF1's first

I think it's funny when Hondas and integras rev at me and I look at them like "Pff.. Lol" and when other cars that I know are faster rev at me Im just like "Just look ahead.. Their eyesight is based on movement.."
