After Market Cam Shafts

Who make a good cam shafts for these cars. I am making a nitrous build and looking to get some more air flow. Piper did, but they just removed them from their site. Hks makes stroker cams. Just trying to find out some options.

this is true, but they work just as well. you need to re shim the valves either way so its not really a problem

Unless you are doing pistons you wont gain much with cams, the valve clearance is already too tight

I have read that's why not many companies are doing cams is because the stock cams are so good, but I have seen a power increase from the piper shots on another page on this forum and it interested me in what else was out there.

not because they are good, but because there is no room.

^THIS

They are not bad cams by any means, however there is just no valve clearance. If you get some custom pistons and custom cams done up you can make some good gains, but at that time your also going to want to port the exhaust side. Its only a matter of money and the dollar to performance gains is not worth it IMO if you want to go that route.

What these guys said. No valve clearance. I'd spend my money elsewhere

I little birdy told me someone on the West coast is pricing billet blanks out right now
Currently HKS is the only other manufacture offering true aftermarket cams not reground OE cams

To get a true blank, ground to any spec, youd need to redesign the heads. Spendy spendy.
