I have never tried soy sauce. What does it taste like? Other than soy sauce that is.

Any asian supermarkets close by or in town? Go pick up a very tiny bottle and try it out for your self, maybe next time you have eggs for breakfast. Other supermarkets may carry soy sauce but have a markup on it, usually a dollar more. I know Safeway does! |

Really? Oh I may like that then. What can it go on other than rice? (These are not jokes)

Add a little bit to meat. Any kind of meat. I don't ever use it on rice, actually. I usually add it in as part of a marinade/sauce for meats. The low-sodium kind is a little more forgiving if you're just trying it for the first time, because there is such a thing as too much soy sauce.

Personally, I don't like the low sodium soy sauce. Also, there's a few brands I've tried that has gone down the drain.
I think this is available all over the world, and is one of the best. ![]() The red cap is the good one. Green cap is low sodium. I've never tried it on eggs. Sceptical. I use it on rice and as seasoning in sauces and curries, with fried fish, in marinade for chicken, etc. And sushi, of course. Start with a few tiny drops. It's very concentrated and one small bottle is enough for many, many meals. |

However, from your list, the only thing I would use it on is chicken. I do not eat any of those other things (yet)
