stock v1 size was 110mm i believe. The V2-V3 are 100mm and the smallest being 90 making 17 psi

There's NO CHANCE a 90 mm makes 17 PSI!! Maybe it adds 11% to the 100 mm.

says 17 psi on my box for the 90mm this all depends on pressure drop and efficient pipe bends so on... the smallest is 80mm, i just checked. i need that. and stock V1 is 100mm, v2-v3 are 110

So what is the stock boost for V1, V2 or V3 then? I am positive they are under 10 PSI, and most likely 8.5 PSI which is the peak I am seeing. That is pretty much the safety zone without fuel upgrades. or E85. Using C= 2Pi*r, there's no way reducing diameter by 10% doubles RPMs. Boost should be directly proportional to C. So, @ 100 mm, C=2*3.14*50mm, C=314mm then @ 80mm, C=2*3.14*40mm, C= 251.2 Then 251.2/314=0.8, which is 25% smaller circumference of 100 mm. If boost @ 100 mm is 8.5 lbs, then 80 mm should blow 8.5 * 1.25= 10.625 So, we might be pretty close to 350 on E85 as previously stated by Torry. Keep in mind this is without considering things like pipe diameter resistance, etc, just a basic estimation.

Basically its the Super Exhaust system and I added the Tomei pipe. The headers are heat wrapped and the car is NA. Mulling s/c options and want the HKSv3 but availability in NZ is tough. Sounds like a tractor below 2k rpm Some drone at 3K rpm After 4K rpm the tone is deep and quite enjoyable to say the least Some pops and bangs coming off throttle lower down the rev range Over 6K rpm it just howls with a little bit of rasp coming off throttle Ive not put a tune on it yet. Torque wise there is definitely more pick up mid range. The dip definitely still there but its smaller for sure. After 4k rpm its pulling harder but I couldnt quantify it beyond my finely tuned butt dyno I love it. Its a classy piece of kit.

Which sealed intake systems (if any) are confirmed to fit with the HKS v3 supercharger kit?

our goal is over 350 whp im using a vertical 600 hp intercooler (low pressure drop) no restrictor, and e85. i was hoping to see 400on the smallest pulley , but probably not with the pipe layout i have. |

I wonder how much more PSI (if any) you could max out without the restrictor on the current set up? I am guessing based on my calculation that the restrictor deleted will result in 10 PSI max. And also, I am guessing an 80 mm pulley will result in 11.25 PSI without the restrictor. A blower that produces 17 PSI with an 80 mm pulley would roughly produce 13.4 PSI with a 100 mm pulley. That might be the HKS supercharger model 8555. It's good for 300-550 HP.

The math is pretty simple if I am correct that boost increases directly proportional to pulley speed. A pulley that is 20% smaller circumference needs to spin 125% the speed of the larger pulley at a given engine RPM. So that means 25% more boost.
Therefore, if my 100 mm blows 9 PSI and is functioning normally then an 80mm blows 11.25 PSI without a restrictor. The only other possibility is if there is a leak in my intercooler or charge pipes, in which case I would probably have other issues and hear it hissing.

whats the pulley option for the kit, i see a 80 70 and a 60mm will those work with the blower? also is there any way possible to fit the gts8550 blower on the v3 kit?

The bigger blower is sold as a stand alone generic unit if you want to fab your own kit. That requires you configure the mounting plate, select and configure pulleys, piping, etc. There are shops that could do it if you can pay but that's an awful big supercharger for this motor on a 12:1 CR. You probably need to change the bottom end, and go to 10.5:1 CR, as well as fueling, clutch, etc etc. In Canada I am guessing it will cost $20K easily. At that point I'd be more inclined to just get a big turbo and call it a day. My 215 PSS are having a tough time getting traction as it is!
