Supposedly the stagger is good. Check this article out: http://blog.tirerack.com/blog/roll-o...our-mr2-spyder

I am also currently on square tires though and the car seems to rotate good (its slipped on me twice already. with no ill effects). Not many spyders have LSD though so it may play a factor. I drove @PMok modded mr2 and it felt twitchy. dont know if it was the lack of lsd or bunch of suspension mods or a combo. I may get staggered tires just to see and compare. I keep flip flopping |

Well whatever you do, it'll be better than the current state of my dad's MR2 Spyder. His local mechanic in Wisconsin noticed that he had a "reverse stagger" going on - smaller in rear, larger in front and said that this was OK and even preferable. WTF?
I sent my dad that Tire Rack article that he will hopefully show to the dude. Quote:

Tried a couple pulls. Didn't feel or notice anything different. Makes me wonder even more if it was 100 octane or if they mistakenly put 91 in the holding tank.

![]() If I may, I would suggest this cocktail of Harbor Freight tools. 18" 3/8 tbar/pivoting flexible ratchet. I tightened the pivoting screws to add more rigidity and doesn't break during ratcheting. Swivel extension and a wobble extension and the obvious magnetic 14mm sparkplug socket. The wobble was less useful as long as the ratchet head and swivel extension were affixed at the correct angle. Otherwise, the wobble reached deeper but needed to be removed - it became too long during insertion and removable of the sparkplug. I used strips of folded cardboard against the firewall and the ratchet during ratcheting so that my fingers didn't have to be there ![]() So like Finch says, have fun. Oh and don't forget a rag/towel over the fuel lines' clips. First rub you'll see.
