The side wall also say "recommended for competition events only" Because racecar!! I didnt spend a fuck ton on suspension stuff over the winter just to ride around on weak tires and not be able to use the new found grip. I think my spring rates of 7k/8k might be a tad on the soft side for these tires

LOL common mistake everyone makes. Wide does not = fast. Wider tires are heavier as well. Compound is far more important then how wide you go. Granted my tires are only going to last like 6 months and your probably 2 years hahahaha! I thought about trying 245's in these tires but at that point I am way over tire-ing (made up word lol) my car and I would need 10k+ spring rates to deal with that much grip. At that point I wouldn't enjoy the ride quality

I love my 17x9s and 245/40 Toyo T1 Sports. Best mod I've made to the car so far.

How much do they weigh? My tires come in at 22 pounds and the rims are 18 (only 17x8 though) pounds. Tire modz on somewhat of a budget lol! And yeah tires are a major mod to improve performance

Vinyl wrapped my roof in gloss black. I did not want to pay a shop to do it for 150+ bucks so I bought the vinyl for 40 and did it myself. Wasnt as hard as I expected, only ended up with a few air bubbles and wrinkles that arent noticeable unless you are standing right next to the car. After I took the pics I decided I liked the white antenna better instead of it being black.
