I've never had any luck flashing (with my headlights. I mean my highbeams. I mean... for the car) any other 86 drivers here (and there are a few on the south end).

Haven't gotten a response so far...

I almost never get a green light turning from Wortley onto York east, so when I did yesterday morning I tried to take it as quick as I could without kicking the tail out. I got a nice low noise from the rear tires and just a flicker from the TC light. I'm on Continental EWC snows with 25lbs of sand in a gym bag in the trunk, so its super easy to slide. Good thing I kept it under control, because there was a member of London's finest waiting at the light to go eastbound behind me. I took the turn onto Thames/King a little more sheepishly a moment later...

Me too!

On a related note for both you other guys in London (that still come on here) the police seem to have acquired two grey pickup trucks. I did not get a good look at them but they don't seem to be marked and I couldn't tell the make but they have about 20 lights scattered all around them. Saw both with people pulled over tonight and there are so many lights they look like a Christmas display.

Yup, I saw one on Commissioners last week. I think it was marked but very subtly, grey on grey.

They've had at least one of these at least a year. Its what I call a 'ghost car'. Legally it is marked, but as Talus said, grey on grey. They are a dodge 1500 extended cab for anyone wondering. They have the same truck in full markings as well.
They also have both black and white, fully unmarked Ford Expeditions. The only upside of having lived on Mornington ave, is seeing all the new unmarked cars come flying down the street!

Thanks guys. Was news to me and when I saw two within about 10 minutes I wondered how many more they may have. I have seen the Charger ghost cars several times but the pickups were a surprise. Was dark and they had so many lights flashing that I couldn't tell if they had stealth markings or even the make. All I saw was this truck shaped pile of lights.

We saw a cop in an unmarked dark grey Durango with tinted windows on Wellington this morning. He was just getting back in his car after pulling somebody over. When he shut off all those flashing red and blue LEDs, you couldn't tell it from any other Durango.

I'm in Tampa for a couple of days. I've seen less twins here than in London!

There was a Lava siting at Tony Roma on Wellington last night. First I have seen in London. Was going to stop and kick him off my turf!

I've started test driving used WRXs and STIs in anticipation of the end of the lease on my BRZ, all part of my 2yr plan to become a three car couple (Wifemobile + AWD winter 'beater' + Cayman S). Brain says "get a cheap '08-'10 WRX". Heart says "get a clean, low mileage, unmolested STI". Oh, the torque!
