So to get this straight without knowing much about real time tuning. Your tablet sucked all the information from the stock tune in, then stored it somewhere, you re-flashed it with a new OFT tune and it was awesome then you were gona tinker with it again and your tablet no longer works? So when you went to use it, you couldn't put your old stock tune back on, or re-flash or update.

Did this leave you stranded without a car?

This is the path I'm going to take but I don't want the tablet to suck up the stock tun encase something goes wrong and I have to re-flash the re-flash

Looks like Shiv was all over this though, so at least I have real person support if it does happen.

If you lose your stock tune, the dealer can flash the stock tune onto your car.

you can backup your original ROM to computer.
but still if you lost OFT, then either reflash from dealership (but will ya?)
or get new OFT.
i wouldnt worry anything. Shiv will support products just like OP received.

OP's car is operating i believe since he couldnt upload tune and his existing tune was still intact.

It did not leave him without a functional car. It wasn't his ECU that was inoperable but rather his OFT. I also have a database of all stock tune files so no need to take it to a dealership.

UPDATE!

I met up with Shiv today and he gave me a new tablet and uploaded my stock tune for me. Everything is working great now! My earlier emails were getting sent to his spam folder which is why he wasn't responding. He was super personal and very professional. Awesome customer service just like I've heard from countless other users.

Thanks again Shiv!
