Plastidip'd BRZ
NOT MINE!
![]() ![]() The car and owner (not OP) swiftly got the typical Nazioc treatment ![]() Cant imagine it would look decent up close, vinyl FTW. And I wonder the condition of the paint after the TX sun. ![]() http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2366949 |

To each his own... I think it looks kinda cool, but I wonder about the durability/longevity of plastidip.. how many high speed runs before it starts peeling off!?

That must of been a hella big can of Plastidip, and a really good crane used to lift it up and dip it!
![]() Seriously, I kid. Not my thing, but hey 10 points for trying! I'd be interested in seeing the follow-up when he pulls it off (in the other forum its mentioned it was a temporary thing). I've been using the stuff for years on tools and such but didn't even know it came in a spray until seeing it on this forum. I've always actually dipped things in it. |

Yes. Back in the day the kids just sprayed their rides with primer but I never saw anyone do it to a brand new car. Same look. Hopefully it peels off clean.

Yeah, not sure why anyone would do that but like what was mentioned: To each his own! I bet that would probably fair well in a hail storm...

I really dont understand the fascination with platic dip as it makes the car lok unfinished (not to meniion tacky) why just settle for a gloss vinyl? looks like original paint safer for the paint job and not to mention it looks a helluva alot nicer. hell for all that why not just have bought the dgm?

I'm sure you can buff any imperfections left from the plastidip off. Then wetsand to get rid of the orange peel and get that mirror finish
