Yes! They look and work great. Cost a total of $120.00 for the pair. Diode Dynamics provides free shipping for BRZ forum members. Call them and ask for the discount.

I don't plan on installing the supercharger. I want to keep this car NA. I will eventually install the catback and the midpipe exhaust and leave it at that. The drivability of the stage 1.0 greatly improved the car. I have a 2016 model with a little over 2000 miles on it. Before, the idle would surge whenever the AC kicked on. Now it holds rock solid. The acceleration is noticeably improved as well as the top end. Everything feels more linear and responsive. I like the little things that the Cosworth does. I have to drive very slow through a security gate at work and before whenever I crawled through in 1st gear, I would get driveline clunk as the car surged back and forth. Now it holds very steady with no surge at all. It's fun watching the tachometer. It literally holds rock solid with no fluctuation. I want to take this car to where it was supposed to be from the factory. For me, this is normally aspirated. I want the engine to perform the best it can without any help. The Cosworth has better than OEM drivability. Even my mileage has improved. Like I said, though, changing the thermostat was a pain. I don't have a lift and so I had to do it on my back in the driveway. Even with a lift it would have been a little challenging. You have to remove the metal skid plate and then pop loose the inspection cover for the radiator drain. Attach a hose to the drain so that when you open the drain valve you don't get antifreeze all over the frame. It was a little difficult getting a hose in there as it's a tight fit. Drain the cooling system and then remove the lower radiator hose. Be prepared for the remaining coolant to spill all over you when you remove this hose. Now enjoy coolant dripping in your face for the next 30 minutes as you attempt to remove the 2 bolts holding the thermostat housing together. I shoved a rag in the hole but it made it a little more difficult to see what I was doing. The thermostat housing is directly above the exhaust header. I have large hands and I barely could reach the rear bolt. When I got a wrench to it I couldn't even see what I was doing. I had to do everything by feel. I had to use a short wrench for the back bolt so that I would not hit the frame and I had to use a long wrench for the front bolt so that I could work around the exhaust. It took awhile loosening them as I could only turn the bolts 1/16 turn at a time. Eventually I got everything loose and removed the OEM thermostat. I installed the Cosworth thermostat being sure the dangly thing pointed toward the rear of the car. Thankfully it held itself in with the thick gasket they provided. I got everything bolted back together and filled and purged the cooling system. The Cosworth thermostat opens at a lower temperature than the OEM thermostat. This allows for more spark timing. The temperature gauge doesn't run as high as it did before. Instead of settling in the middle, it now runs at the bottom hash mark on the gauge. This is the low end of "normal". But after getting it all put together, I'm loving it. I like the idea of my car being tuned by engineers instead of political committees. The car is now tuned with engine performance in mind and it feels it. tldr; changing the thermostat sucks. Not Cosworth's fault. Buy the Cosworth and you will be happy. |

Seat time
Rolled out about 7pm to pound out 200 miles. Little River to Foothills Parkway, zero cars on the dragon, across the skyway to telico/360 then home.
The wipers where on for five hours and the fog lifted somewhat above 4000' on the skyway. Had to do the moose move for some small slides but picked upped sticks and the wheels got filled with gravel. |

I'm not truly local! My car is registered back at my parents house, in Royersford/Limerick, PA area (where this photo was taken was at AAA in Royersford). I actually live in Baltimore. Drove home this morning, picked up the tags and got them switched over, then drove home.

True. Rays always does quirky colors at first, eventually they'll add more standard color options or allow the optional ("custom") colors on for that model! I'm honestly surprised they only offered one color, but they've had great luck with the gunmetal being a big seller lately, I assume that's why...
