With mankind getting dumber and dumber in the last decade. First a low fuel light, then a put your seatbelt on chime, now a "hey ya dumba$$ you forgot to put your gas cap back on light". What is this world coming too. a person is brilliant as an individual. People are crazy, irrational, and dumb.

It is what it is...Most humans are dumb animals. They need warning lights.

Ahhh I thought he was refering to getting a CEL because of the gas cap not being fastened. That has been on my last 3 cars.

Take it to the dealer and get it checked anyways. A large chunk of us are having idle issues with our cars and some are pulling CEL. Feel free to browse threw and read about it. The title is labeled idle issue.

One or two people have reported the issue being related to the crankshaft when the code was pulled.

Btw - read what the lemon law is. Hint - you don't seem to know.

(it deals with a car having a problem that the dealer can not fix after repeated attempts. It does not deal with you flipping out that you have a dash light on no one has looked at yet.)

(The lemon law comment was purely a joke - demonstrating both sides of a reaction from panicking to being calm.)

As a followup, it went on (and off) again so I just brought it in to the dealer; on the way there I experienced the idle issue as explained on the FR-S side of the forum. Dealer took a look and the engine guy said Subaru of America was getting involved with my car and to bring it back in next week.
