I may be wrong in this statement, but I presume we would not be seeing any of his proclamations on future videos.
Why? Because judging from all the recently spammed 2+ year old threads with titles "Most power NA" or similar, a ban hammer will be heard echoing throughout these halls. At least one can hope. |

I think we are all losing perspective, and the reason that this all got started in the first place--His claim, with out any qualifiers, that he was making 221 hp NA, claiming it was just with bolt-ons. Didnt mention tune, didnt mention he was running flexfuel, both of which are large, contributing factors. If he had said "I made 221 whp with some custom bolt ons, a tune and while running E55 gas" then we all would have said "Good for you, Bro." and moved on with our lives.
TL,DR: Mike, next time, just post all the Goddamn information instead of a sentence fragment and not expect an incredulous response. P.S.--Regardless if you actually did this or not (seems like it, at this point), I think you are a coward, especially showing that you can't take a joke by posting my comment on facebook and not calling me out here. Real Internet Tough Guy here. |

He is the highest that we know of or someone would have said something. Maybe he should say he has the most whp N/A on the forum. Whatever he posted before doesn't matter he delivered what was requested. He may not be the fastest right now in the 1/4 mile but that is his goal to be and we all know that driving skill and the correct setup plays a big part of 1/4 miles times not just power. Lets not bring this forum down to level of the civic, evo, sti and bimmer forums. I have seen and work with very capable people that are now where at all computer savvy but still very skilled at their craft. I am not drinking all of the koolaid but lets just say I drank half of it and I am no longer thirsty. |

EDIT: To be the unofficial, non sanctioned, fastest that anyone has posted about, as pointed out by TCOAT Question what if those same people that don't race NHRA that might be faster, does this mean NHRA doesn't count either??? Your point is a play on words that could be applied to any situation. No one can have it both ways, I understand your point don't get me wrong but you swing a double edged sword Sir.

I say let him come back with vids and slips...He has everyright to try to succeed and post his accomplishments. He now knows he needs 244 rwhp and a 13,46 et to accomplish his goals. If you notice in the video he is not running a correction factor so he might be close to accomplishing his goals. Now he just has to make the car work and drive it.

I say we post the goals we set on here then some time during the year everyone who claims to have the goals accomplished meets at a drag strip centrally located and puts 1000 dollars in the pot and the true fastest that night takes the pot and the title...Any takers? Cars will be inspected before the runs.

Sort of like: This is the biggest salmon ever caught in the world. I know because I caught it and here is it's picture. Nobody has posted a bigger one so it is the world record. In reality that is a very tiny salmon.

For the record, This post was made originally because I thought the car would go a different direction when I was going to buy it. But balance and having a quick not fast car became more important
