Steve knows it needs work. He's happy with it, so who am I to complain?

Huh, this is my 2000th post...

Yes it is pvc, I had to shape it with a heat gun and attach it as one piece. Not easy and the bend points just wouldn't cooperate. It really looks much better in person. I can only improve from this point that's for sure. lol

Wet laying takes a lot of practice. Any imperfection as small as it may seem at the time can completely ruin a piece and I think you did good. The next time you do it you'll be twice as good. Just have to learn from your mistakes. You can always put another sleeve overtop the old one if you want to try again.

Thanks, it was fun to learn and just trying to figure out what to do next..lol I have some CF left over so I need to find something. It's a CF sleeve so dunno what else on the car I can sleeve.

Depends how big the sleeve is but i've heard of some people doing intake pipes.

Or you can buy some more and do your interior trim pieces.

I'd love to try to to do the intake but I'd need a spare to make the casting mold. Maybe a top strut bar :]

Oooo yeah that too!

You can also just wet lay over the intake which would be a heck of a lot of easier. I still haven't got into making molds but i want too. Getting pre preg carbon and a vacuum at that point is almost necessary.

Don't forget to adjust the headlight levels when you put on the Winjet's. Forgot to do that when I put on mine and couldn't see nothing.

EDIT: Need a 8MM/5/16 socket to adjust headlight levels, turn the Gold screw next to headlight housing to adjust it (for the people who don't know)

Yeh pre-preg with a higher temp resin. That's when things get pricey. The vacuum bag system will be an investment in a year or so.
