The difference must be in how you recline the seat back. I'm used to BMWs and VWs with pretty upright positions and like to be upright and close the wheel. I'm sure if you lean back you can be a couple inches taller.

This makes me want to go try again. There's no difference between FRS and BRZ seats and/or headroom right?

Anyone know if the seat bottom cushion comes out easily?

txbdan, did you make sure to lower the seat? You have an inch or two on me but I got through my test drive with a more upright position than I traditionally use and with headroom to spare, only to find afterwards that I hadn't even lowered the seat as low as it can go!

I'm exact 6'2 and I feel comfortable. You know you can adjust driver seat height? Also the car has what they call pagoda roof which help with head room.

6'3" and I fit...ok...

Have to lean the seat back (not too far though) but I fit, I don't know about wearing a helmet at the same time, but them's the breaks.

Yeh i had the seat as low as it could go.

I drove by a Subaru dealership today at lunch and they had a BRZ out front. So i stopped in sat in that for a second try. Still no luck. I also noticed that leaning the back back didn't really help much because the back of the room sloped down as my head went back.

This car is a no go for me unless i put an aftermarket seat on side mounts in it.

I finally sat and test drove one over the weekend, I fit alright at 6'3. I have the seat all the way down and a click or 2 from being all the way back. My main gripes are the steering wheel doesn't telescope back far enough (hardly at all) and legroom is sort of narrow, my right knee rubs against the center console which is hard, cheap plastic... almost with an edge. I don't think either would be a deal breaker, but general comfort issues.

Im 6'3 1/2 213 pounds with a 34 inch inseem and i fit flawless as a matter of fact i instantly felt like part of the car which was rare besides the Mustang with recaro seats and my FC RX7 Turbo II. Im a former 1st gen Miata driver which i drove from Oakland to Ohio and back all without cruise control. the seating position was very similar to my FC RX7 which had tons of room....

Was rather strange to me.
The wheel telescopes, so its possible that was the difference. It's not a huge amount but it could make a difference in the feel.

I'm 6'5"/200 lbs/36" inseam. I fit in one. (Comfortably too, I might add!) Though, a lot of people told me that I wouldn't. Shoulda seen me though, I must've walked around the car for a good minute, just admiring the curves and design before I nervously decided to try her on. You could hear me laughing all giddy as soon as I discovered that I fit!
