Do you have a v3 now? And need the updates to get up & running?

Or are you holding out for 2015/16 ECU compatibility?

If you are holding out, you don't have to. The v3 Pro kit (without the F.E.) can be installed on any existing FR-S or BRZ; RHD/LHD/MT/AT from 2012 to current. You'll just have to use an alternative tuning solution.

I like the looks/performance of your kit here Scott. I've already got a mishimoto oil cooler mounted on my car and would like to know if it interferes with this install. The lines are routed differently (under drivers side headlight) so that's not an issue, but the cooler is mounted front and center with about a 4-5 inch gap in front of the radiator. Any idea if it will work? Couldn't tell from the installation instructions.

That's right about where our IC is. The radiator angles rearward towards the bottom and our IC is vertical so the gap increases the further down you measure but I'm pretty sure the IC occupies the same space.

Just took these if they help any:

Thanks for the pics, it's kind of hard to tell. I know there's a several inches of space between the cooler and the radiator. I haven't been able to find a good sideview outside of the mishi install video. Whats the radiator core dimensions and how far does the bottom/top sit off of the radiator?

I'm looking at the same setup as you... at least the Mishimoto oil cooler and HKS v3 combo. I was also curious about the modifications I would have to do to accommodate both.

Here is a pic I found in the current Super Street mag for reference. ** Not Mishimoto oil cooler **

What's the price of this kit in Japan? Wouldn't mind going FI eventually and this looks like the way to go.

Looks to me like it may require a custom bracket for mishimoto mounting to the front bumper causing it to shift more to the left hand side (American driver side) and slightly farther forward. The lines to the oil sandwich plate may also need to be shortened.

Does anybody know if we can use/buy the tuner part separately and use it to remove CEL lights without going forced induction. I want to buy the header and front pipe but don't want to buy the supercharger until I have more track time with car. Unfortunately it seems that if I bought the exhaust components I'd have to go ecu tek to remove the CEL meaning I wouldn't have to buy the tuner version of the supercharger kit. The thing is that despite the tuner parts limitations I like the fact that it can double as a display gauge keeping the interior cleaner with the amount of gauges needed. Just curious is all.

Can anybody translate impeller speed into a peak boost number for the different pulleys on the V3 kit?

Are you saying oft does the same thing in allowing you to monitor information like the HKS unit? Can it be easily tuned for flex fuel kits with ethanol content sensors? I thought it was only good with the SBD kit.

OFT is a tuning platform. What you do with it is up to you, but as long as you know what you're doing it should have no problem tuning this kit or any other.

I have no idea if it can take advantage of a flex fuel sensor.

No idea about the flex fuel sensors, but it displays a great deal of data coming from the obd2 port.

If you're looking for to measure boost and ethanol levels I believe you'll need separate guages.
