My mother's cat is 25. That is almost unheard of. Mind you she can hardly move, is totally senile and pisses all over the place. The cat is in pretty rough shape as well.

Nope, and I'm reminded every day at work that is the case.

I never get the movie references people make (granted I don't watch movies very often), I get told I'm old enough to be their son (a few - grandson), and always succumb to the "you kids have it easy nowadays, back in my day..."

The next oldest person is probably 30 years old.... I'm 24.
