There was a lot of people talking about the drone on the EVO3 with catless headers, I'm pretty sure this was "fixed" to a degree on the GT as I don't have droning problems while paired with a Gruppe-S UEL catless header.

Ya the EVO series were kinda farty, subtly obnoxious in a way lol..

Sound clip of my setup has been added to the last line of the first post.
**Note that it sounds different from your phone than on a computer speaker.

As others said, it's the new gen EVO3. Honestly, I LOVE GReddy exhausts. I ran an EVO on my last car ('13 WRX) and it garnered attention everywhere I went. I'm glad to see this exhaust is on par with the last.

@vividracing @ mikool looking to purchase exhaust soon
it's between this and HKS Legamax Sport

for the EVO GT, does the exhaust come out pretty evenly? It looks to me that the flow to the right looks more natural. I just don't want 1 tip black and the other one shiney (OCD lol)

For the HKS, it looks like it flows evenly. am i making any sense? lol

Honestly, even though the flow isn't "even" I never noticed one tip getting dirtier than the other. If you're as OCD about your car as me, then you'll have it cleaned every week anyway so it's a non-issue

@Atticus808 The measurements are the same, as for flow I'm not 100% sure but it def doesn't get "dirtier" than the other side. I hand wash pretty frequently so I don't ever let it build up, but from what I can see it's as even as it will ever get. Unless of course you don't plan on washing your car for several months then maybe there might be an issue.

Installing the EVO GT was simple lego action and hangars slipped right in the rubber mounting. One other thing to note, probably mandatory to have a helper with you as some places are hard to reach while holding up the exhaust and trying to bolt/unbolt here and there.
Thank you for posting your experience with the GReddy Evo GT.

I am on the verge of purchasing one for my BRZ, after months and months of researching . I love the grimy sound and is clearly high quality.

About the install, I have heard several people have problems with some bolts that were not the correct size for the fit. Did you have any problems with that?

Also does losing ground clearance, at any time, get in your way?

I did not run into any problems concerning the bolt sizes. Getting it on for me was a breeze, only took about 15 mins with the help of my cousin.

That's good to hear Also I didn't even read the part in your last question about losing ground clearance. The only time where I have concerns is when I come across contruction areas and there are propped up manholes. I am also not lowered so for anyone that lowers their car I wouldn't do more than 1.5-2".

Have you scratched the surface with the exhaust? I don't plan on lowering my car but I'll keep that in mind.

Is the sound noticeable? I am starting to find some disappointed people because it's apparently quiet.

I think I may have a little from a propped up manhole but other than that I haven't had a problem with scraping. Also I have never heard of anyone complaining that it's quiet this is probably one of the loudest catted exhausts you can get lol not sure if you've checked it out but I do have a sound clip of my setup, the last link on the first post.

Yea I've seen half the people I have questioned about the GReddy which it was louder. The only people that don't is the people that have modified other parts of the exhaust system, like yourself with that header.

I wanted something that will give me that growl right of the bat without doing anything else, that's why I went with Dezod.
