@CounterSpace Garage

Any ideas what this Kit can do on an engine with forged internals? also E85 and appropriate fueling? Any benefits to doing this on lower compression?

I know i'm asking a bunch of dumb questions but the more I look at the Sprintex 335 kit the less i'm liking it, as there are so many cases of engine failure with that kit, even with built engines, most recently smudge's catastrophic failure.

That had nothing to do with the Sprintex though, that was due to a manufacturing error in one of the small ends of the HKS stroker kit...

Well, assuming that the engine isn't the limit, I've seen 650+ on other platforms with a *single* C38.

Maybe a -92, but this is not a -92 - there's no way a -81 is making 650.

I've seen 700+ on a 91/92.

Even the spec sheet for the 81 states 660hp, whereas the C30-94 states 435 (which we've surpassed on several platforms).

You do not need T-Bolt clamps.

The silicone hose clamps we use are different than a traditional "worm gear" clamp. We use the same clamp you will find under the bonnet of many Le Mans Prototype. There are no T-Bolts at Le Mans or IMSA. Our SCCA FR-S race car runs the exact same clamps that come in your kit. We recently won at Auto Club Speedway using these exact clamps. No loss of boost.

Our clamps may be smaller and have a lower profile, but that does not mean they cannot hold. Tighten them until they stop turning. Do not over tighten. They are the best hose clamps available and the reason we include them in our systems.

I had a couple of the supplied clamps break when tightening, didn't feel like i over tightened them.

Why? The JR supplied clamps work just fine.

This is where professional installation is key.

Here's an experiment of clamp tightening vs force required. Put a hose clamp on your arm, and tighten it. Note how easily the gear keeps turning when the clamp is already uncomfortably tight around your arm.
