Considering this is the Random Thoughts thread, I find it hard to not just comment on the running thread. But, to keep with the theme, The Spicy Chicken sandwich at Steak-n-Shake is actually very good.

So today on the way to work some guy in a infinity (who was driving like a jerk) was going about 130 (and so was I, but I stay in my lane and dont weave around people) and there was no one else around after we cleared the traffic infront. There are like 2 lights like 75 meters apart a little ways down and we were almost to the "lights about to go yellow" warning light sign when it started to flash so I gunned it to make the lights and he thought I wanted to race. So I made it though both lights before they went yellow and he was a little ways behind but still trying to keep up. I slowed down to 130ish again and continued on my way. He stayed right with me and I was think whats this fool want? So we get to a good corner I like and he takes the outside line and guns it. I thought to myself what a fool and took the inside line and against my better judgement I hit the corner at excessive speed and over took him and continued on my way to work. He ended up passing me after I slowed down and took the same exit I was taking. Turns out he is the new guy we hired yesterday so now I have a new car guy to talk to lol!!

I DO NOT condone street racing in any way shape or form and I do realize what I did could be considered racing, however there was no one around and I was driving the car well within its limits in a safe and controlled manor.

Where the hell can you drive 130 and there are traffic lights?

The highway, they have random lights just the 2 of them and I have no idea why there are 2. Cars can only turn left then they are stuck at the second red light (they are synced) makes 0 sense. I feel they installed the lights in the wrong spot and instead of moving them built another set

So the limit on the highway is 80 or 100? Not calling you out for the speed since I do 130 on a daily basis but that is on the 401 and there sure as hell ain't no lights involved.

110 is the "limit" and yeah I do 120-130 daily lol! I go against traffic though and drive outside the city so its not like anyone is around.

WOW a 110 limit with stop lights slapped in the middle. Now that is some engineering genius right there.
The very most you would see here is 80 with a light and even that is pushing the limits of sanity sometimes.

Welcome to AB hahaha! There are other places with random stoplights but they do set the speeds to 80 for like 100M before and after the light. No one ever slows down but the cops loves those zones

Edit: and thats why I gunned it, I am not gona slam my brakes at 130 just to stop for a light I can run lol
