So with the news of Toyota closing Scion, I wonder if the TRD springs and bars will be available with the rebadged FRS?

Since TRD is just Toyota Racing Development, I'm sure the TRD springs and sway bars will still be available as a port installed option on the Toyota FR-S.

I'm sure Toyota will make the TRD parts available. I'm just messing with the FRS guys.

Any Canadian CS drivers know the deal on the "port installed TRD parts" or does this not apply to us?

Same rules apply. If you plan on running CS you can have the springs and sways installed

For clarification, I was looking through all the Fastracks, and couldn't see anything that said both the TRD springs and sway bars all had to be installed if going that route. Are they are separately installed options? For example, I am planning on going with TRD springs, Strano front sway bar, and stock rear sway bar. I believe this will still be legal?

I think so. Changing one sway is legal in street anyway

the TRD springs and sway bars are separate options so you do not have to install both
of them. You can do springs only or bar(s) only and still be legal for C Street.

Who's sells just the TRD rear sway? Every price I see is for the package of two. Also the CAD price for the springs right now is $860 while they're available in the states for $230. Quick math with the current exchange rates tells me I'm probably better off buying from the states lol

By the front and the rear, turn around and sell the front to a BRZ owner...ok, I'll show myself out.
