Antenna delete/plug

A friend recently purchased a 3D printer, and I asked him if we could create a plug for the stock antenna base so that I could remove my antenna (I just stream music from my phone - literally never turned the tuner on in my car) but not have the socket exposed. We made a little plug, filed it to fit, painted it, and I think it turned out great. No more RC car!

There's a cheap alternative using the VW antenna:

I'd guess it's for AM too, but you could always just take off the antenna and find out for sure.
