And of course same can be said about headers, catted or no.

I'm talking carb legality as they have done that for other muscle car systems in the past.

I'm pretty sure its a CARB requirement to keep all cats stock. If you search around, all CARB certified FI options keep the cats untouched.

Edit: after some research, it is true that there are certain headers and cats that are CARB legal, but my understanding is that such items need to be exempted from CA's anti tampering laws. Also, for cats specifically, proof must be shown to prove that a cat needs to be replaced (ie from a smog place, your insurance if damaged, etc). Basically, alot of hassle for you and Hooker.

I'll be curious to hear some sound clips.

Also, I'm going to be in Bowling Green over Valentine's weekend visiting my girlfriend. I wonder if I could convince her to take a trip over to Holley so I can see the product in person... lol

Edit: Also not sure if I'm a fan of the 4.5" tips. 4" seems like the largest I'd want, but I guess I'd have to see it in person.

Yes, I will do sound clips on my car when the production parts release and they install the parts. I believe the header w/ and w/o cat should release next week.
I dropped in earlier this week and with the big interest in the platform, Holley bought their own. They already installed an Edelbrock supercharger as they are confirming that their parts also work with a supercharger as well.

The stock tips are 4.5" diameter, it might look odd to down size to 4" don't you think?

Guys, Looks like the headers are now on their website. I called them and they should be on the shelf end of this month for the UEL w/o cat and first week of March for the header w/ cat.

I also asked if they had videos of the exhaust and they are going to send them to me. Once they do, I'll post the video on here. They should have the cat backs and front pipes on their website as well in the next couple weeks.

Also if possible three things they should do to this site- https://www.holley.com/products/exha...nd_subaru_brz/

one of which is already being done:

1) Sound clips
2) Pictures of the collectors on the headers photos
3) Specifying whether or not the catted header is UEL or not

One of the bullet points on the catted header description from the link you posted: "Available in a UEL (Unequal length) header without cat or a near equal length header with cat design"
